Did ya know... It is illegal (and not nice!) to reproduce
professional photographs. Some people mistakenly think that it's fine to
copy a print once they have paid for it, or that copying is permissible
if they don't plan to sell the image. Both are false.
Copying images without the artist’s reproduction rights form is
punishable by up to a $150,000 fine. Professional photographs are NOT
required to have a stamp or copyright notation to indicate copyright,
although this is indicated on the back of many prints. It is
understandable that you love your images and want to share them but
scans create embarrassingly low-quality images that can unfairly harm
the photographer's reputation. Violations will be prosecuted to the
fullest extent of the law.
